Planetary Vision Quest Retreats 2016

“There is a dream dreaming us.”

In May 2015 we launched  Planetary Tantra Retreats  and the Planetary Vision Quest  is the way we are taking Planetary Tantra forward in 2016, and beyond.

You can find a detailed description of the Planetary Vision Quest Retreat, what it is and who it is for here.

The 2016 dates are:

Summer Solstice Retreat:  17-23 June 2016

Lughnasa Retreat:  30 July – 5 August 2016

PRICE: €500 pp

Applications to be received by 31 March for the Summer Solstice Retreat and 30 April for the Lughnasa Retreat.  The application process is covered in this post and the Booking Information is here.

Please ensure that your place is confirmed before making any travel arrangements, as places are strictly limited.

This is a nature retreat, where you will be close to the earth and most of our activities are outside.  We are in a beautiful rural location, over-looking the Caurel mountains, about 10 miles from the nearest town of Monforte de Lemos, in Galica, Northwest Spain.  The summer days are hot and the nights relatively cool – bring layers.  This part of Spain is very green and not like the coast.  There are many beautiful places to walk through the woods and across the fields, or just sit and enjoy. Our location is very secluded without neighbours and there are no towns or villages with any facilities within walking distance.

Our aim is to provide an experience that is within Nature, but comfortable and a delight for the senses.  We have two Norwegian accommodation tents (one of men and one for women), that are used for disaster relief situations, with normal headroom, a closing door, proper beds and bedding.  Each one sleeps four, in two compartments.  There is also a yurt sleeping two and a self-contained cabin with a double and twin room, kitchen and bathroom.  You can bring your own tent if you don’t want to share.  We cannot guarantee who will be in what accommodation, so be prepared to be flexible.  Let me know in advance if you are a couple, so we can put you in the yurt or the cabin. We have an outside shower with plenty of hot water.  You will need to bring your own towels.

Our water is from our well and Galician water is said to be some of the purest in the world.  We are not connected to mains sewage, so we ask you to bring organic toiletries to use while you are here.  We provide what we use here ourselves and will also show you how to make it.  All our toilets are compost toilets.  In 2016 we are going off-grid.  This means that there will be limited access to the internet or for phone charging, so please don’t bring laptops if at all possible.  You will be participating for a short while in our ‘naturally luxurious’ lifestyle and an experiment in living in the dreaming of the Wisdom Goddess.

The Terma of Gaia Awakening is and will always be free to access and anyone can choose to practice Planetary Tantra at anytime. These retreats are an optional adjunct to private practice and an opportunity for practitioners and warriors to gather, learn, teach and share experiences.  We would love to be able to run these retreats for free, but we don’t have the money to be able to do that.  However, we are a registered non-profit organisation and the retreats will be run on a not-for-profit basis.  This means that delegate fees are set to cover operational and labour costs and any surplus at the end of the year will be put into supporting future retreats.

There is no Beltane Rtereat in 2016 as we plan on moving into our house then.

Price of €500 pp includes: breakfast, lunch and dinner and we have an honour bar for beer and wine.  We are mostly vegetarian, but we are not strict and we can provide meat dishes if we have mostly flesh eaters. Raw milk and organic eggs are provided by our neighbour. The price includes transfer from the train/bus station in Monforte and we can stop at the super-market for any special requests!

If you are interested, please let us know as soon as possible using the contact form below, as we want to keep the numbers to eight per retreat this year and we like to have equal numbers of men and women.

“We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love… and then we return home. “……………ABORIGINAL PROVERB
